A Walk Down Karl Johans Gate

After our failed attempt to see "The Scream," we walked down Karl Johans Gate.

We started at the Royal Palace.

The flag was flying over the palace, indicating that the king was in residence.

Guard outside the palace. This was a woman.

As we walked down Karl Johans Gate, we came upon the National Theatre. 

Beautiful tulips in bloom everywhere.

Front entrance to the theatre.

Public toilets labeled Liberte, Egalite & Fraternite.

Further down the street was Stortinget, Norway's Parliament Building.
