Dinner at Louise

We found dinner at Louise, a bistro in Aker Brygge.

Moules Frites--NOK195 ($23.75)--500g fresh mussels from Snadder & Snaskum in Trondelag, steamed with white wine, shallots, chili and cream. Served with French fries and aioli. This was okay. Not too much flavor.

Fresh Norwegian Prawns--NOK218 ($26.55)--prawns fresh from the sea served with lemon, aioli and white bread. These were amazing shrimp. They were small but so sweet. The shell was rough and the texture of the shrimp meat was firm and like nothing I've had before. Sure beats farmed shrimp.

Tenderloin of whale from Myklebest, smoked celery puree, asparagus, carrots, roast potato puree, red onion marmalade, salty lemon sauce--NOK245 ($29.84). The whale had a texture similar to beef tenderloin but tasted like liver.
