KristianSUND

KristianSUND, not to be confused with KristianSAND, which is in the southern part of Norway, is a town of 17,000 but it seemed a lot bigger than that.


Inner harbor.


Klippfiskkjerringa statue--literally translates to "clipfish hag." This shows the importance of the fishing industry in Kristiansund.


She's important enough to make it on the manhole covers.







Our ship was late in arriving. Gave us a little scare until we saw a local waiting for the ship as well.
