Mercato Pasta

Wednesday night's dinner was at Mercato Pasta, located at 630 3rd Street.

We arrived in time for Happy Hour--Wed-Fri from 3-6 pm.

Happy Hour meant Garlic Bread for $3. This was served with pesto. It was nice and garlicky.

Arancini--$3 at Happy Hour. These were creamy risotto balls with nice crispy exterior. Not sure the aioli was needed.

Kale Caesar--$4 at Happy Hour. Nice and garlicky but too much cheese on top. I'll ask mine for cheese on the side next time.

Their pastas are $9. Choose your pasta and your sauce. This was Spaghetti Bolognese. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente and the Bolognese was delicious. There was too much sauce though.

Rigatoni with Tomato Vodka Sauce--$9. This was also delicious but had too much sauce.

Their Restaurant Week Menu was $19 for a starter (including garlic bread, arancini, chopped salad, kale Caesar), a pasta dish with a topping (chicken, shrimp, house made meatballs and seasonal vegetables) and a glass of house wine, beer or Italian soda.
