Rocker Oysterfeller

Our last Restaurant Week dinner was at Rocker Oysterfeller, located at 14415 Shoreline Highway in Valley Ford.


Corn Muffin served prior to dinner. I liked the whole corn kernels and jalapeƱo peppers in the muffin.


One of the options for the first course was Cajun Style Seafood Gumbo--Dark Roux Gumbo, Andouille Sausage, Local Fish, Crayfish Tails, Basmati Rice. The gumbo was really thick and I thought it could have used a little more salt.


One of the options for the entree was Blackened Gulf Shrimp & Anson Mills Grits, 
Creole Sauce, Braised Collard Greens. The shrimp was nice and spicy but this was over salted. The grits were creamy and the collard greens were well prepared.


One of the options for dessert was Powdered Sugar Beignets. This was one dessert. So much more than the beignets at Spoonbar!
