Hong Kong Park

Hong Kong Park is an 8-hectare park surrounded by skyscrapers on one side and mountains on the other. It's a nice oasis of peace. The park has an aviary and a conservatory, as well as several museums.

Fountains dot the park.

Nearby skyscrapers.

The Flagstaff House Museum of Teaware is located at the park's northern tip. It's open Wed-Mon 10am-6pm and it's free. The air-conditioned museum is a nice respite if you need a break from the heat.

The Flagstaff House was built in 1846 and was the residence of the Commander of the British forces in Hong Kong during colonial times. It is the oldest example of western architecture remaining in Hong Kong.
