Cuban Home Depot

Just down the street from our casa particular was a small store selling bathroom supplies.

I was shocked to see these vanities selling for 675 CUCs. How do the Cubans afford these if the average salary is 30 CUCs/month?

The toilet was more reasonable at 140 CUC. 

This was another hardware "store" that we ran across. Individual stalls with used pipes and plumbing supplies. I guess you have to be very inventive if you live in Cuba.
