My new favorite farmers market is the Sunnyvale one on Saturdays from 9 am-1 pm. I used to like the Saratoga one but on a recent visit I noticed it was much smaller and there weren't as many fruit stands. The Sunnyvale market is located in downtown Sunnyvale on Murphy & Washington.
There are great fruit stands. Peaches, nectarines and plums are only $2/lb. There's also great green vegetables. Acme Bread has a stand and their bread is so reasonable. A baguette for $2 and a batard for $3. If you're hungry, there are also food stalls on Washington.
