Thursday Night Dinner

Here's this week's Thursday Night Dinner at Flavor Bistro. Four courses with four wine pairings for $24.95.


Sogliola Con Peperonata--Local Sole Served in Slow Cooked Peperonata Topped with Spicy Aioli, paired with 2014 AIA Vecchia Vermentino I.G.T., Toscana, Italy. I love this dish. The fish is well cooked and the sauce is delicious. I also love the garlic aioli.


Spiedini Di Tortelli--Homemade Hat Shaped Pasta Filled with Vegetali-Ricotta Mousse, Spicy Sugo Di Pomodoro & Balsamic-Rosemary Brown Butter, paired with 2014 Tenuta Sant'Antonio Scaia
Corvina I.G.T., Veneto, Italy. The sugo is amazing. I couldn't waste any of the amazing sauce and sopped it up with the focaccia.


Agnello Ai Ferri--Grilled Marinated Local Lamb Loin Chop Garnished with Roasted Treviso, Sweet Corn-Fontina Polenta Served in Sugo Di Olive E Maggiorana, paired with 2012 Quivira Vineyards & Winery Zinfandel, Dry Creek Valley


Pesca Con Zabaione--Puff Pastry Filled with Muscat Sabayon Topped with Fresh Peaches, paired with 2014 Marchesi di Gresy, La Serra Moscato d'Asti D.O.C.G., Italy. This was a new dessert. The peaches were sweet and tasted great with the puff pastry filled with muscat sabayon.
