The hotel is in a fabulous location on a pedestrian street. The downside is there is no parking at the hotel. Parking is in a lot 5 minutes away--€7/night.
The exterior of the hotel was not very impressive but the rooms were comfortable.
Unbeknownst to me, the room I booked had no air conditioning. It was high 80s when we arrived. Fortunately, we were able to upgrade to a room with air conditioning for €5/night.
The bathroom was modern.
The only downside was the shower head was handheld.
There was an in-room safe but this was not bolted down and could easily be carried away.
Breakfast was included. There were cold cuts, cheese, wonderful breads and fruit. No hot items.
They also had these at breakfast.
It tasted like chicken pate and was actually pretty good.
The hotel had a laundromat that was open from 4-8pm. What a great idea for the hotel! When they were done with the machines, open it up to the public to get more income. A wash cycle was €3.50 and a dry cycle was €2 for 20 min, €3 for 40 min and €4 for an hour.
