Predjama Castle

After Skocjan Cave, we drove to Predjama Castle, a 32 km and 30 minute drive. It is only 9 km from Postojna Cave so many people combine the two.

The castle is set into the side of the cliff. Truth be told though, the castle is much more impressive in pictures than in person.

Rick Steves said the inside of the castle was "skippable," so we didn't tour the inside. Entrance fee was €11.90. Because rain was predicted for the next day. we wanted to get to Ljubljana early so we could take pictures before the rain hit.
