From Plaza Revolucion to Coppelia

We walked from Plaza Revolucion to Coppelia.

We passed a park with scattered animal skulls. Not sure why they were here but they were next to the sidewalk.


Universidad de la Habana. It was founded in 1728 by Dominican monks. The university educated only the elite whites--all other races were excluded. Surprisingly, women were allowed to attend and by 1899, 1/7 of its student population were women.
